The General Secretary, Sally Tsoukaris attended a parliamentary event held on the 16th April – hosted by Independent Age the event, ‘2 million 2 many’, highlighted the plight of pensioners in poverty in the UK.
The event was hosted by Wendy Chamberlain MP (Liberal Democrat), who also took the opportunity to speak on the issue, along with Joanna Elson CBE, Independent Age CEO, Baroness Neuberger DBE, Independent Age Chair, Jo Gideon MP (Conservative) and Sir Stephen Timms MP (Labour/Chair of Work & Pensions Select Committee).
