Members of the Executive Council have worked within the civil service and public sector throughout their careers. Meeting regularly, their extensive experience helps to manage the business of CSPA. They consider our policy and direction and can appoint sub-committees to look at campaigns in more detail.

Visit our ‘Join Now’ page to start your application online (link). If you would like to join by post, please call 020 8688 8418 Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and we can send you a form.
Your membership will be active from when you have been approved and successfully purchased your CSPA membership.
If you have joined online, you will receive a confirmation email. All new members – whether online or by post will receive a membership pack in post within 2 weeks of joining CSPA.
Once you are a member of CSPA, we can offer our members help if they experience problems with their Civil Service pension. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this assistance to Associate members.
All members get access to a significant range of discounts on travel insurance, high street retailers, discounted holidays, through to lifestyle and professional advice and guidance services.

Every member gets a quarterly issue of our magazine ‘The Pensioner’, which is full of interesting articles to keep you in touch with what’s happening.
Membership costs just £24.00 a year for single or £33.60 a year for a joint membership. Join us online today.
You can join us if you already receive your pension or are up to 10 years before your civil service pension age. This is 50 years plus depending on your Civil Service pension scheme.
You can become a member of the CSPA if you receive a pension from the Civil Service Pension Scheme, from a similar pension scheme operated by a research council or other non-departmental public body, or public sector employment that participated in the public sector transfer club, or from a pension scheme operated by a civil service trade union.
Membership is open to active or former members of these pension schemes who remain entitled to benefits.

Associate Members qualify for all Members’ benefits (except individual pension case representation) including our free quarterly magazine. Join us online today.
Retired Civil Servant – Direct Debit or deduction from your pension. If you receive your pension MyCSP or the research councils, you can arrange to pay your subscription by monthly deduction.
