Northern Ireland Civil Service Pensions To Rise

Although the Government had confirmed, some months ago,  that Civil Service Pensions in Great Britain would rise by 6.7% from April this did not automatically apply to Northern Ireland Civil Service Retirees because there is a different approval process to allow Pensions to be increased.

The CSPA NI wrote to Northern Ireland’s Department of Finance Civil Service Pensions Branch re the matter. CSPA NI Secretary, Tony McMullan, confirmed that he received a reply to his correspondence, yesterday, confirming that Northern Ireland Civil Service Pensions would increase by 6.7% from 8th April 2024.
